Libia Patricia González est née à La Unión Valle le 16 Août 1962,
c'est une artiste peintre autodidacte.
Son travaille s'inscrit dans ce que Jean Dubuffet appelle la création “d'Art brut” ou dans cette autre définition de Gérard Sendrey dite “Création Franche”.
C'est une artiste aux multiples facettes et aux convictions profondes. Penseuse complexe. Elle aborde l'art et la culture, motivée par sa capacité à inventer de nouvelles formes abstraites, figures et couleurs à travers des animaux et des paysages liés à l'homme.
Durant son enfance et son adolescence, elle a suivi quelques cours de dessin et de peinture. Son intérêt pour l'art et la culture l'ont amenée à admirer les oeuvres de plusieurs artistes peintres colombiens.
En 1987, elle arrive à Paris et commence avec son mari une nouvelle vie avec ses difficultés d'intégration. Sa fascination pour la culture parisienne, la découverte des musées et l'omniprésence de l'art dans la ville réveillent une nouvelle fois son intérêt pour la peinture. Elle s'inscrit à des ateliers pratiques sur l'aménagement paysager, l'aquarelle, l'acrylique et l'huile.
Elle peint le quotidien, les animaux et les paysages de sa ville natale La Unión Valle, en Colombie.
En 2019, elle expose pour la première fois à la mairie du 5e arrondissement de Paris.

Libia Patricia González nació en La Unión Valle el 16 Agosto de 1962. Pintora
autodidacta, su obra es parte de lo que Jean Dubuffet llama la creación
"Art brut" o en esta otra definición de Gérard Sendrey llamada "Creation Franche".
Es una artista con muchas facetas y profundas convicciones. Pensadora compleja. Aborda el arte y la cultura, motivada por su capacidad para inventar nuevas formas abstractas, figuras y colores a través de animales y paisajes relacionados con el hombre. Durante su infancia y adolescencia, tomó algunas clases de dibujo y pintura. Su interés por el arte y la cultura la llevó a admirar las obras de varios pintores colombianos. En 1987, llega a París con su esposo y comenzó una nueva vida con las dificultades que se presentan como inmigrantes.
Su fascinación por la cultura parisina, el descubrimiento de museos y la omnipresencia del arte en la ciudad despertó una vez más su interés por la pintura. Se inscribe a talleres
prácticos sobre paisajismo, acuarela, acrílico y óleo. Pinta la vida cotidiana, los animales y los paisajes de su ciudad natal La Unión Valle, Colombia.
En 2019, expone por primera vez en la Alcaldía del distrito 5 de París.

Libia Patricia González was born in La Unión Valle on August 16, 1962, she is a self-taught painter. Her work is part of what Jean Dubuffet calls the creation of “art brut” or in this other definition of Gérard Sendrey called “Création Franche”.
She is a multi-faceted artist with deep convictions. Complex thinker. She approaches art and culture, motivated by her ability to invent new abstract forms, figures, and colors through animals and landscapes linked to man.
During her childhood and adolescence, she took some drawing and painting lessons. Her interest in art and culture led her to admire the works of several Colombian painters.
In 1987, she arrived in Paris and began with her husband a new life with its integration difficulties. His fascination with Parisian culture, the discovery of museums, and the omnipresence of art in the city once again awakened his interest in painting. She enrolled in hands-on workshops on landscaping, watercolor, acrylic, and oil. She paints everyday life, animals, and landscapes in her hometown La Unión Valle, Colombia.
In 2019, she exhibited for the first time in the town hall of the 5th arrondissement of Paris.
